How Does Vault Pro Build Emergency Pro Escape Hatches?
We start with Prime Grade American Steel that is cut and bent to exacting specifications to match the client’s requirements. Frames for the emergency hatches are squared before they are full seam welded and reinforced with backing for locking bolts and ¾” step systems.
The doors begin as hand cut and custom fit ¼” steel fronts that are also reinforced with guide rails and step systems to perfectly match the frame. After adding appropriate fire insulation, the locking mechanism and internal releases are installed using very heavy duty steel guides. The door is then hinged to the frame using Vault Pro’s own 1¼” diameter seamless ¼” tubing and ¾” solid cold rolled steel bar to far exceed any stresses the door may encounter.
After quality inspection for fit and function, the Pro Escape Hatches are painted, fit for gaskets and final inspected before being packed for shipping.
